AI data is a data format created in Adobe Illustrator. The extension is “.ai”.
What can AI do?
Illustrator can generate vector images.
Vector images are suitable for illustrations and logos because they do not deteriorate in quality when enlarged or reduced in size and because they can be freely reshaped.
You can also freely place and combine text, lines, shapes, and images.
What is AI’s weakness?
Illustrator is not suitable for processing photographs and other images with many colors because they are vector images. If the number of colors is too large, the image data becomes heavy, resulting in data corruption and software malfunctions.
For this purpose, we use Photoshop (raster images), a software suitable for editing images.
We use the latest version of Illustrator for many of our projects.
